Get a 2020 vision!

Dear [Name,fallback=],

New year, new decade; and if your New Year's resolution is to improve your travel photography, then we have a number of ways to get you off to a flying start! We have tours to two exciting destinations that still have places available, a whole series of Travel Photography Masterclasses in Manchester and London and are currently putting together a comprehensive series of tours and courses for the future. On this email, you will also find a link to a survey where you can have your say in our future tours and courses.

Impressions of Madagascar

We have made a few improvements to our last tour of Madagascar, but have still retained the most popular highlights. The result is a fantastic trip of a lifetime to this most unique island. Madagascar is all about the wildlife, and our itinerary takes us to a number of reserves where you will have an excellent chance to see and photograph much of the endemic wildlife, including many species of lemur, chameleons and even the fearsome fossa.

As you might expect from us though, we have worked out a more rounded itinerary, so as well as plentiful opportunities to encounter wildlife, we also explore the landscapes and vibrant history and culture of the island.

Top five non-wildlife highlights of Impressions of Madagascar:

• Avenue of Baobabs at sunrise and sunset

• Stunning rock formations of the Tsingy de Bemaraha

• Protestant village of Soatanana

• Isalo National Park and the lagoon of Ifaty

• Historic cities of Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa

If this doesn't entice you - in our next newsletter, we will detail all of the wildlife highlights that will be covered on this exciting itineray, or feel free to contact us - or explore the tours page on the website for more information.

You can see a gallery of images of some of what we expect to photograph on this trip on this link. Remember though that the entire Southern part of the itinerary is completely new to us, and so all of the shots in this gallery are only from the first half of the itinerary!

Impressions of Madagascar departs from Antananarivo on the 4 June 2020 for 16 days, and costs from 3795 per person based on twinshare. To see all of the fantastic places we visit on this trip, and the fantastic places that we will be staying, check out the full itinerary here, or you can find the booking form here.

Impressions of Namibia

Namibia offers a completely different African experience to the traditional wildlife safaris of East Africa. The country is as much about the stunning landscapes as it is the teeming wildlife. You will get plenty of wildlife opportunities on this trip though, including the Okakuejo Waterhole in Etosha National Park which is the best place to see Black Rhino in the wild, the sprawling Cape Cross Fur Seal colony, elegant Gemsbok in the dunes of Sossusvlei and Desert Elephant in remote Damaraland.

Top five non-wildlife things on the Namibia trip

• Sunrise at Dead Vlei, Sossusvlei

• Shooting star trails in the Quiver Tree Forest

• Kolmanskop ghost town

• Sunrise and sunset over the Fish River Canyon

• Rock art and traditional Himba people of Damaraland

You can see a gallery of images of what we expect to photograph on this trip on this link.

We have two dates organised for Impressions of Namibia: departing Windhoek on the 23 September and 14 October, each for 15 days. The first trip is led by Steve Davey; the second trip by photographer Jamie Marshall. The cost is from 3995 per person based on twinshare.

To see more of the amazing places that we visit on this exciting photography tour, you can see the full itinerary here, or if you want to book up a place on the trip, you can find the booking form here.
