On the road again

Dear [Name,fallback=],

It's been a long wait, but I am finally back on the road this Friday with a photography tour taking in the highlights of Turkey. I will be posting images from the trip on this link, and also posting pictures to Facebook and Instagram.

Our next tour after Turkey is an exciting adventure to the incredible high altitude region of Ladakh in India. Although there are just under two months to go for this trip, because of the process of obtaining an India visa, this really is the last chance to join us. The good news though is that this trip has been confirmed and will definitely depart – so if you do snap up one of the three final places, then you really should get in touch as soon as possible.

Looking forward to the end of the year and beyond, we have a fantastic trip to the evocative state of Rajasthan in India scheduled for November 2022, and a rescheduled trip to Uzbekistan in May 2023.

Finally, we are giving you a chance to influence our future tours for the rest of 2023 and beyond.

Impressions of Ladakh

InJKLehsD0794

This is your final chance to book on to July's Impressions of Ladakh tour. Unashamedly adventurous, this really is a trip of a lifetime, taking in some of the most stunning and remote parts of this hidden corner of India.

We will visit a Buddhist Festival at a distant monastery in the Zanskar Valley as well as the Leh Polo Festival on this incredible itinerary. With a series of atmospheric drives we will explore cut-off valleys, crest high mountain passes and explore the history, landscapes and culture of this unforgettable place. You can see a selection of images from this region on this link.

Impressions of Ladakh departs from New Delhi on 5 July 2022 for 18 days. Under our new variable pricing policy, the cost is from £2695 if 8 people travel, down to £2400 for the full 12 people. You can see the full itinerary on this link and download the pdf for the tour here.

Impressions of Rajasthan

Rajasthan is the most colourful of the states of India and our Impressions of Rajasthan tour takes you on a whirlwind of ancient forts, painted merchants' houses, remote desert towns and great cities, whilst also visiting two of the stunning November Fairs: the Pushkar Camel Faiir and the Kolyat Mela at Bikaner.

Getting firmly off the beaten track we will be able to explore the great sights of the region, breathe in the desert atmosphere as well as meeting and photographing many of the stunningly photogenic people of the region.

Impressions of Rajasthan departs from New Delhi on the 30 October 2022 for 15 days. Under our new variable pricing policy, the cost is from £2395 for 8 people to £2095 for 12 people. You can see the full itinerary on this link and download the pdf for the tour here.

Impressions of Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a fascinating country, with cities evoking of the lost days of the Silk Road, and conjuring up images of camel-trains, formidable fortresses and exquisitely decorated mosques and madrassas. This unique tour encompasses the most historic cities of Uzbekistan - Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara - and crosses the Kyzylkum Desert, explores the fertile Fergana Vallay and visits the remote village of Darband.

Impressions of Uzbekistan departs from Tashkent on 8 May 2022 for 13 days. Under our new variable pricing policy, the cost is from £2150 if 8 people travel, down to £1895 for the full 12 people. You can see the full itinerary on this link and download the pdf for the tour here.

Have your say for the future

PeAgusD0071

Looking forward to 2023 and beyond, we are trying to decide on what tours we will launch in the future. We have a policy of trying to vary our destinations, as this means that people who travel with us regularly always have some interesting options to consider. It also means that your experience on the tour will be more spontaneous, rather than being shown how to photograph the same old people in the same old situations where we have taken dozens of people in the past.

Mindful of both the tail end of the pandemic and the global financial squeeze, we are trying to offer some destinations that will be more affordable. You can reach our survey on this link: anyone taking part will be given preferential bookings on any future tours.
