Our trip to Morocco started in the desert town of Ouarzazate - the heart of the Moroccan film industry. We then drove out into he Sahara Desert to spend a night under the stars after a camel ride.
From the Sahara, we explored the atmospheric gorges of Dades and Todra before returning to Ouarzazate, to explore the Atlas Film Studios, which have been the location for many films over the years.
Another famous film location is the ruined kasbah of Ait Benhaddhou, where we shot star trails, before heading to the walled city of Taroudant.
After an atmospheric drive along the rugged coastline we arrived at Essaouria before finishing up in the bustling and exotic town of Marrakech.
We have visited Morocco many times over the years, yet we always try to change itineraries and visit new places. This keeps things exciting, and allows us to continually develop new and exciting itineraries. These are pictures from our most recent trip to Morocco, in April 2015. As well as some old favourites, we visited the walled city of Taroudant, before driving the coast road to Essaouria.
